Jacobson’s organ is a patch of sensory cells within the main nasal chamber that detects heavy moisture-borne particles. Airborne particles are detected by the sensory cells located in the main nasal chambers. Some groups of mammals also initiate a behaviour known as the flehmen response, in which the animal facilitates the exposure of the vomeronasal organ to a scent or pheromone by opening the mouth and curling the upper lip during inhalation.
While using after effects for this project, we tried to make the snake and organs look as 3d as possible.
Lucky Charm Studio created theses visualizations of the snake organs and functions with Rawsienna.
Mammoths Giants of the Ice Age : Smithsonian Channel Show
The woolly mammoth was an enormous mammal that once roamed the vast frozen, northern landscapes in large size. Believed to be closely related to the modern-day elephant, the woolly mammoth remained in the wild until roughly 1700 BC when it became extinct.
The woolly mammoth was found roaming the bitter Arctic tundra where they would often gather in large herds for both warmth and protection. Woolly mammoths lived in two groups which are thought to have been different enough to be characterized as separate subspecies. One woolly mammoth group stayed in the middle of the high Arctic, while the other woolly mammoth group had a much wider range.
The woolly mammoth was an enormous animal, with adults often reaching heights of four meters or more. Woolly mammoths in certain areas where, on average slightly smaller in size and could in fact be just half the size of one of the largest woolly mammoth individuals.
The biggest question pondering all scientists is what happened to the all the mammoths? Also where did they giant creatures life and roam?
Lucky Charm Studio created everything from Title open to Asteroid impact of what could have happened to the mammoth population.
In the jungles of a remote archipelago in the South Pacific, a biologist is attempting to do something Charles Darwin and Ernst Mayr never accomplished. They wanted to catch evolution in the act of creating new species. Albert Uy is on the verge of an amazing discovery in the Solomon Islands, but there’s a threat looming on the horizon. The islands’ resources are being exploited, putting all local wildlife at risk. It’s a race against time to gather the evidence necessary to prove the existence of a new species before it’s lost forever. Islands of Creation was a great project work on and we created some very artistic styles that really make the show come to life.
Lucky Charm Studio collaborated with EagleEye Studios to graphically show Darwin theory though live examples of DNA and the evolving tree of life.

Incredible Flying Jet Packs was an amazing show to work on. When the jet pack took its first flight in the 1960s, it was loud, difficult to pilot, and could stay in the air for about 30 seconds. 50 years later, not much has changed. But visionary engineers are hard at work to make them quieter, safer, and more practical. Will they succeed? See how new approaches with simpler mechanics may allow us to use these futuristic flying machines in ways no one has yet to imagine. Then witness pilot Nick Macomber’s attempt to take a jet pack to world record heights, and hopefully make it back down!
Lucky Charm Studio in collaboration with RawSienna, created these VFX and motion graphics for a rocket power show on the Smithsonian Channel.
The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) is the sole representative of city delivery letter carriers employed by the U.S. Postal Service. Since it was founded in Milwaukee in 1889, the NALC has had a long and distinguished history of defending the rights of letter carriers before abusive supervisors, unfair presidential administrations and indifferent Congresses. As of April 2015, 24 states and Washington D.C. have legalized cannabis for medical use as voter or legislative driven initiatives bypassing the normal Food and Drug Administration testing for safety and efficacy. Seven states have pending legislation. There is considerable variation in medical marijuana laws from state to state.
In the United States, there are important legal differences between medical cannabis at the federal and state levels. At the federal level, cannabis per say has been made criminal by implementation of the Controlled Substances Act, but as of 2009, new federal guidelines have been enacted. According to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, “It will not be a priority to use federal resources to prosecute patients with serious illnesses or their caregivers who are complying with state laws on medical marijuana, but we will not tolerate drug traffickers who hide behind claims of compliance with state law to mask activities that are clearly illegal.”
Even though the National Institute of Health states that cannabis can help treat cancer, the law says otherwise keeping it out of the patients hands and a crime to possess.
This title was created in After Effects using 2.5D method and Element3D.
